Alright, let’s gab about this Audemars Piguet thing. I hear folks talkin’ about it, all fancy-like. Pay basic basic, reddit, HK? What’s all that, anyway?
So, this Audemars Piguet, it’s a watch, right? Like, a real fancy one. Not the kind you get at the drugstore, I reckon. People are sayin’ you gotta pay extra if you don’t wanna sweet-talk the seller. Like, sendin’ your wife? That’s just plain silly. What’s a watch got to do with all that?
Then there’s this code thing, 11.59. Sounds like some secret code, like somethin’ out of a spy movie. And gray dial, black dial, green dial… what’s the difference? They all tell time, don’t they? Seems like a whole lotta fuss over colors.
Now, some fella says he finally got enough money to buy this fancy watch. But, oh no, you can’t just walk into a store and buy it! Says he won’t pay the crazy prices. Well, I don’t blame him. Who wants to pay extra for somethin’ just ’cause it’s hard to find?

They say you can get these watches in Hong Kong, too. HK, that’s what they call it. Never been there, but I hear it’s a big city. Probably got lots of fancy stores with these fancy watches.
One fella went to a Rolex store, whatever that is. Didn’t get anywhere. Guess this Audemars Piguet thing is better? People say it’s a better brand, but regular folks don’t know it. They see a watch, they see a watch. Doesn’t matter if it’s special or not.
They don’t make too many of these watches, you know. Only 40,000 a year. That’s a lot of watches, but I guess not compared to other things. Like, how many loaves of bread do they make a year? Probably a lot more than 40,000.
These watches, they keep their value, too. Folks say you can sell ’em and make money. Don’t know why you’d sell a watch, but if you need the money, I guess it’s good to know it’s worth somethin’.
So, that’s what I know about Audemars Piguet. Fancy watches, hard to get, cost a lot. Don’t know if I’d ever buy one, but seems like some folks like ’em.
