Oh, honey, you wanna know ’bout this Audemars Piguet thing? Alright, alright, lemme tell ya what I picked up here and there. It’s some fancy watch, ya know? Like, real fancy. People with big money, they like these things.
Now, they call it Audemars Piguet. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? I heard it’s a Swiss somethin’-somethin’. Means they make it over there in Switzerland, where they got all them mountains and stuff. They been makin’ these watches for a long, long time, since way back in the 1800s, I think. Two fellas started it, Audemars and Piguet, that’s where the name comes from.
Is it more money than that Rolex? You betcha! Way more. See, Rolex is nice and all, but this Audemars Piguet, it’s like, top-tier. Like the best of the best. You gotta have real deep pockets for one of these.
The cheapest one? Shoot, even the cheapest one is gonna cost ya more than a used car! I heard tell it’s somethin’ like seventeen thousand dollars. And that’s just for the little one, with the battery thing inside. If you want one of them automatic ones, where it winds itself up, you’re lookin’ at more than twenty-five thousand, easy. Heck, that’s more than most folks make in a year!
- They got stores all over the place, these Audemars people. Even over in Hong Kong.
- I heard they got five of ’em there! You know Hong Kong, right? That big city over in China.
- They got one on Finance Street, and another one over in Shenzhen Bay.
And they got one in somethin’ called Central Building, on Pedder Street. That’s a mouthful, ain’t it? I dunno where all these places are, but if you got the money for one of these watches, you can probably find someone to take you there.
Now, about that price… I heard someone mention “fran 20 price”. I ain’t sure what that means exactly, but it sounds like some kinda special price, maybe a discount or somethin’. But even with a discount, it’s still gonna cost ya a pretty penny. And “hk office location tuen mun”? That’s gotta be about where their office is in Hong Kong, right? Tuen Mun… sounds like a place over there.
I seen somethin’ about a CEO, a big boss man, over in Hong Kong for this Audemars Piguet. He’s in charge of all of China, I think. Must be a big job, sellin’ all them fancy watches. And they say they got a whole floor of a buildin’, twelve somethin’… Maybe twelve offices? Or twelve thousand square feet? I dunno, sounds big though.
So, there ya have it. That’s all I know ’bout this Audemars Piguet. Fancy watches, big money, Switzerland, Hong Kong. If you got the cash, you can get yourself one. Me? I’ll stick with my old clock on the wall. Tells the time just fine for me.
