I bought this Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, the 45mm big one, in that fancy titanium gray color. Just got the box, haven’t even opened it yet. Let’s see what’s inside, shall we?
First off, the box itself. Pretty sturdy, not some flimsy thing. Got a picture of the watch right on the front, so you know what’s what. No surprises there, which is good. Don’t like surprises, especially when you’re spending good money.
Opening the Box
Alright, let’s get this thing open. Lifted the lid… and there she is! The watch, sittin’ pretty right on top. Looks just like the picture, thank goodness. First thing I notice is the size. This 45mm thing is big, real big. Gonna take some getting used to, that’s for sure.
- They got this fancy strap on it, feels kinda rubbery but strong. Got a buckle, not one of those fiddly things that come undone all the time.
- The watch face, it’s round, like a regular watch, but digital. Shiny too, like glass. Hope it doesn’t scratch easy.
Took the watch outta the box, and there’s more stuff underneath. They packed it in there tight, like sardines!
Found a little booklet, probably tells you how to use the thing. Ain’t gonna read it now, too excited to play with the watch. Maybe later, if I can’t figure it out myself.
What’s in the Box?
So, what else is in here? There’s this weird little puck thing. Looks like a charger, you know, for plugging into the wall. But it ain’t got no plug on it. Just a wire with a weird end. Guess you gotta buy the plug part separate? That’s a bit cheap, ain’t it? Spend all this money and they don’t even give you the whole charger.
Oh, and there’s another strap in the box. Shorter one, I guess, for folks with smaller wrists. Mine are big, so I’ll stick with the one that’s already on the watch.
That’s about it. Watch, charger puck thing, extra strap, and a booklet. No fancy bells and whistles. Just the basics.
First Impressions
So, what do I think? Well, it’s big, like I said. And heavy. Not gonna forget you’re wearing it, that’s for sure. But it looks nice, real modern. Screen’s clear, colors are bright. Can’t say much about how it works yet, haven’t turned it on. But I’m hopin’ it does all the things it says it does.
Gotta say, I’m a bit disappointed about the charger. Seems like they should have given you the whole thing, not just half of it. And I ain’t too happy about havin’ to read that booklet. Always hated instructions. But I guess I’ll manage.
Overall, it’s a fancy watch, for sure. Hope it lives up to the hype. Gonna spend some time figuring out how to use it now. Maybe I’ll come back and tell you how it works once I get the hang of it.
But for now, I’m just gonna admire my new Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. It’s a real looker, that’s for sure.
