Oh, this thing? The smart-watch, Apple Watch Ultra 2 GPS + Cellular BL 49mm Titanium Milanese Loop Black Medium. Yeah, it’s a mouthful, ain’t it? My grandson, he got it for me. Says it’s the “latest and greatest.” Don’t know about all that, but it sure does a lot.
It’s got this fancy titanium thing, black. Supposed to be tough, I guess. Feels heavy, solid. Like it could take a bump or two. Good for when I’m working in the garden, you know? Don’t want somethin’ that’ll break easy.
- It tells time, of course. Big numbers, easy to see. My eyes ain’t what they used to be.
- And it’s got this “cellular” thing. Means I can make calls on it, even if my phone’s inside. Handy when I’m out back and need to call the boy.
The strap, they call it a “Milanese Loop.” It’s kinda like a metal mesh. Looks fancy, I suppose. Adjusts easy, fits good on my wrist. Black, too. Matches the watch. Everything’s black, this watch.
My grandson says it’s got GPS. Something about finding your way. Don’t reckon I’ll be gettin’ lost in my own backyard, but maybe it’s good for when I go visit my sister in the city. Streets all look the same there.
It does all sorts of other things, too. Heart rate, they call it. Tells you how fast your heart’s beatin’. Don’t know why I need to know that, but it’s there. And steps. Counts how many steps you take. My grandson says I should walk more. Maybe this watch will help with that.
Battery lasts a long time, they say. Don’t have to charge it every day. That’s good, ’cause I forget things sometimes. Just plug it in at night, and it’s good to go in the mornin’.
It’s got a lot of buttons and things. Still tryin’ to figure it all out. My grandson helps me sometimes. He’s good with these gadgets. Me, I just need somethin’ that works. This watch, it seems to work.
Apple, they made it. Heard of them. Make phones and computers and all sorts. Fancy stuff. This watch, it’s fancy, too. But it’s also practical, I guess. Keeps me connected, tells me the time, helps me stay healthy. That’s what my grandson says, anyway.
It’s expensive, though. My grandson wouldn’t tell me how much, but I bet it cost a pretty penny. He says I’m worth it. Sweet boy. Hope he doesn’t spend all his money on me.
