Well, you wanna talk about them Audemars Piguet watches, huh? Fancy name, them. People in town, they chatter about them, saying they’re real something. Makes you wonder, don’t it? Why so expensive? Well, they say it’s because they don’t make many. Keeps the value up, I guess. Like them limited edition plates my sister collects. Only so many, so they cost more.
People who work for Audemars Piguet, they get paid good, I heard. Something like 86k a year. That’s a lot of money. No wonder the watches cost so much!
Now, they compare these watches to Rolex. Say Rolex is cheaper. Imagine that, something being cheaper than Audemars Piguet! Must be real expensive then.
They only make so many of them watches each year, too. Something like 40,000. Not much, when you think about it. All them rich folks wanting one, gotta keep the prices up, I suppose.
So, if you’re thinking of getting one, better save up your pennies. Or maybe win the lottery. Cause these watches, they ain’t cheap. And you gotta pay every month, remember? Like rent, but for a watch.
In the end, it’s up to you, I guess. If you got the money and you want a fancy watch, go for it. Just don’t come crying to me when you’re broke! I told you they’re expensive.
