Switzerland, that’s where they make all them fancy watches, Rolex and all them other names I can’t quite remember.
They say these watches, they ain’t just watches, they’re like, how do you say it, history or somethin’. You buy one, you buy somethin’ special. But, lemme tell ya, they cost a pretty penny, these AP watches. Heard folks gotta wait a long time to get one, all them rich folks lining up, I guess. But, they say now, maybe not so much waitin’, somethin’ ’bout demand goin’ down. Don’t know what that means, just what I heard.
If you wanna buy one, gotta go to Hong Kong, they got an office there. Audemars Piguet (Hong Kong) Limited, that’s what they call it. Fancy name, huh? They got an address, somethin’ ’bout Queen’s Road, 20th floor, somethin’ like that. Another address too, Jardine House, 6th floor. Lots of floors, gotta be a big buildin’.
- They got a website, but I ain’t got no computer, so can’t tell ya much ’bout that.
- Someone said somethin’ ’bout a Royal Oak, must be one of them fancy watches they make.
- Price, oh boy, someone said 215,000 somethin’, Hong Kong dollars. That’s a lot of money, could buy a whole lotta things with that.
People in Hong Kong, they trust this place, buyin’ them fancy watches. Luxury watches, they call ’em. Ain’t luxury for me, I tell ya, just tellin’ ya what I heard. They say you get a box and papers with the watch, must be important. Warranty too, somethin’ ’bout fixin’ it if it breaks.
