You know, that Watch Dogs 2 thing on the PS4 Pro, the one with the 4K? Yeah, I seen it. Kids were playin’ it, all squinty-eyed at the telly. It’s fancy, I tell ya. All them little people runnin’ around, lookin’ real as spit.
They told me it’s somethin’ called 4K. Sounds like a lot of Ks to me. What happened to just regular K? But lemme tell ya, it’s sharp. Like, real sharp. You can see the dirt on them cars, the wrinkles on their faces. Makes me wonder if they see my wrinkles when I watch.
This game, Watch Dogs 2, it’s all about hackin’ and sneakin’. Like bein’ a nosy neighbor, but with computers. You jump around buildings, messin’ with stuff. Kinda like what them grandkids do with their toys, except it’s all on the screen.
- They drive cars fast, crashin’ into things.
- They sneak around, hidin’ behind walls.
- They push buttons and make things go boom.
It’s a lot of jumpin’ and runnin’. Makes me tired just watchin’ ‘em. Don’t they ever get winded? I guess that’s what these young folks do for fun these days. Back in my day, we played outside, got some sun. Now, they’re glued to that box.
This 4K thing, it makes everything look so… busy. There’s so much goin’ on, it’s hard to keep track. My old eyes can barely follow! But the colors, they’re pretty. Bright and shiny, like a new button on a Sunday dress.
They say the PS4 Pro makes it better. Like, smoother and clearer. I dunno, looks fine to me. But what do I know? I’m just an old woman watching kids play their games.
I asked ’em what they’re doin’ in the game. They said they’re fightin’ “the system.” I said, “What system? The plumbing?” They just laughed. Kids these days.
They told me this game ain’t real. Like, duh! I ain’t stupid. But it looks real, ya know? Makes you think, what if things were like that? People runnin’ around with their phones, messin’ with everything. Scary thought, if you ask me.
I seen ’em flyin’ them drone things too. Little buzzing bugs with cameras. Weird. What happened to just lookin’ with your own eyes? Everything’s gotta be through a screen now.
Anyway, it’s a game. Keeps the kids quiet for a while. Gives me a chance to sit down and rest my bones. And that 4K thing, well, it’s somethin’ else. Maybe I’ll watch ’em play again tomorrow. See if them little people are still runnin’ around, causin’ trouble.
