Alright, let’s talk about this Watch Dogs 2 on the PS4, part 1. My grandson, he got this game, said I gotta try it, see what all the fuss is about. So I sat down, controller in hand, and started this thing.
First off, you’re this young fella, Marcus, running around San Francisco. Not my kinda place, too crowded, but in the game, it looks alright. He’s got this group, DedSec, they’re like, fighting the system or something. They hack into stuff, computers, phones, whatever. It’s all modern and fancy, makes my head spin a bit, but the boy says it’s cool, so I keep playin’.
So, this part 1, it’s like, gettin’ started. You learn how to move around, how to use the phone to hack things. Like, you point it at a camera, and boom, you’re lookin’ through the camera. Then you can hack into someone’s phone, steal their money or somethin’. Don’t know if that’s right, but it’s a game, so I guess it’s okay.
- Move around: Walk, run, jump, climb. It’s all there.
- Hacking: Use your phone to hack cameras, doors, and people’s phones.
- Missions: You gotta do stuff for DedSec. Steal data, expose bad guys, that kind of thing.
They show you how to drive, too. The cars, they go fast! I crashed a few times, but it’s fun. You can steal any car you want, just hop in and drive off. Not like in real life, thank goodness.
The missions, they’re kinda tricky. You gotta sneak around, hack this, steal that. They got these puzzles, too, where you gotta connect wires and stuff. Took me a while, but I figured it out. Felt pretty good, I tell ya.
This game, it’s got a lot of talkin’. Marcus and his friends, they’re always chattin’ about tech stuff and the government. Most of it goes over my head, but I get the gist. They’re tryin’ to make the world a better place, or somethin’ like that.
One thing I liked, the city looks pretty. San Francisco, they got the Golden Gate Bridge, all those colorful houses. It’s nice to look at, even if it’s just a game.
Overall, part 1, it’s alright. You learn the ropes, get a feel for the game. It’s not somethin’ I’d usually play, but it’s different. Makes you think, you know? About technology and all that. Makes me wonder what these young folks are up to with their phones and computers.
I’ll keep playin’, see what happens next. The boy says it gets better, so we’ll see. Might even figure out how to hack my TV remote, save me from gettin’ up to change the channel. Wouldn’t that be somethin’?
