You know, those fancy watches, the ones they call Audemars Piguet? Yeah, them fancy things. They say they come from a place called Switzerland, where they make all sorts of watches. Rolex and Patek, too, they say. But Audemars Piguet, they’re something special, or so they tell ya. They been making them since way back in 1875, long time ago. Still the same families making them, imagine that!
Now, they say these watches are real good, real fancy. Made with care and all that. But they cost a pretty penny, let me tell ya. The cheapest one, they say, is 17,300 of them dollars. That’s for the little one, the steel one. They got bigger ones, automatic ones, those cost even more. 25,000 dollars and up, they say.
Where to find them? Well, they got a place in Hong Kong, that’s what I heard. Somewhere in Central, they say. Wing Kut Street, or Queen’s Road. They even got a shop in Tsuen Wan, if you believe it. And another one in Elements, wherever that is. Fancy places, I reckon. You can go and see them, touch them if they let you. They even fix them for you, if they break. But you gotta pay, for sure.
- They say you can buy them new, or you can buy them used. Used ones are cheaper, they say. But still a lot of money, I tell ya.
- And if you can’t go to Hong Kong, they say they’ll send them to you, anywhere in the world. But you gotta pay for that too, for the shipping and the taxes. Nothing’s free, eh?
Now, some folks say Rolex is better. They say Rolex watches are strong and reliable. But Audemars Piguet, they’re different. They’re made by hand, special like. So if you want something fancy, something special, then Audemars Piguet is the one, they say.
I don’t know much about these fancy things. But I hear people talk, and that’s what they say. Audemars Piguet, they’re special, they’re expensive, and they’re from Switzerland. You can find them in Hong Kong, in Central or Tsuen Wan or Elements. And they’ll send them to you, if you pay. That’s all I know.
So, if you got the money, and you want a fancy watch, maybe you go and take a look. See if you like them Audemars Piguet watches. Me? I’ll stick to my old clock on the wall. It tells the time just fine, and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg.
