Heard they got all sorts, sporty ones, shiny ones for dress up, even one with a touch screen, like that phone thing again. Ain’t that somethin’? Guess them fancy folks like touchin’ everything nowadays.
Them Tissots ain’t cheap, that’s for sure. They call it “entry-level luxury.” Sounded like a fancy way of sayin’ you gotta pay a pretty penny. He mentioned some names, Chrono somethin’ and Classic Dream. Sounds like somethin’ you’d see in a dream, not on your wrist.
Folks say you can get ’em online now, free shippin’ and all. Macys, Bloomingdales, all them big stores. Don’t know much ’bout that, never bought nothin’ but flour and sugar from the store down the road.
- They got some called Le Locle Powermatic, expensive sounding, $750 they say. That’s more than my rent for a month!
- Then there’s the Seastar 1000, sounds like somethin’ from the sea. $795! Lord have mercy.
- Classic Dream Automatic, another one of them dream watches. $525, still a lot of dough.
- And somethin’ called Carson. Didn’t catch the price on that one.
Guess if you got the money, you can buy whatever tickles your fancy. These Tissots, they seem to tickle a lot of fancies. 25% off, they say. Still a lot of money for a watch, if you ask me. But hey, who am I to say?
They say Tissot’s been makin’ watches for 160 years. That’s a long time. Guess they know what they’re doin’. Up in the Swiss mountains, Le Locle they call it. Sounds cold up there. Hope they got good heaters.
If you’re lookin’ for a fancy watch, a Tissot might be your thing. Lots of styles, lots of prices. Just remember, it’s gonna cost ya. But if you want somethin’ nice, somethin’ shiny, somethin’ to tell time with, a Tissot might just be the ticket.
