Well, lookie here. You’re askin’ about that “Watch Dogs 2” somethin’ or other. That “NerdOut” song, eh? I ain’t no tech whiz, lemme tell ya. Ain’t even sure what a “Watch Dog” is, ‘cept the kind that barks at strangers. But I hear tell it’s some kinda game, like them kids play, starin’ at them screens all day.
Now, this “NerdOut” thing. Sounds like a buncha kids gettin’ all worked up about somethin’. Prob’ly makin’ a ruckus, like them young’uns do. Music, you say? Well, I reckon it’s gotta be loud, with lots of thumpin’ and screamin’. Can’t imagine it’s anythin’ like the hymns we sing in church.

- Don’t know what kinda hackin’ they’re doin’, but I sure hope they ain’t messin’ with my bills.

This game, “Watch Dogs 2,” it’s got all these characters, I hear. One’s called “Wrench” or somethin’. Guess he’s handy with tools. Probably fixes things, like my nephew who’s always tinker’n with his car. Then there’s this “Lenni” girl. Folks say she’s a bit of a tomboy. Reminds me of my granddaughter, always climbin’ trees and gettin’ dirty.
Seems like there’s a bunch of swearin’ in this game, too. Some Spanish words, they say. I don’t speak no Spanish, but I know swearin’ when I hear it. Kids these days, always with the foul language. Don’t know what their mothers would say.
Now, about that “NerdOut” song. They say it’s about bein’ a “Watch Dog.” What’s that mean, I wonder? Watchin’ out for trouble? Like a neighborhood watch? Maybe they’re fightin’ for the little guy, stickin’ it to the man. Or maybe they’re just makin’ noise for the sake of it. Wouldn’t be the first time.
You can find this song all over the place, apparently. On them computin’ machines and phones. Kids these days, always glued to them screens. Don’t even talk to each other no more. Just tap-tap-tappin’ away. Makes me wonder what the world’s comin’ to.
Folks say the song’s got a good beat, somethin’ you can tap your foot to. Well, I ain’t much for dancin’ anymore, my knees ain’t what they used to be. But I reckon if it makes them kids happy, it can’t be all bad. As long as they ain’t causin’ trouble.
So, that’s all I know about this “Watch Dogs 2” and that “NerdOut” song. Just a buncha kids playin’ games and makin’ noise, far as I can tell. But hey, who am I to judge? Everyone’s gotta have their hobbies, I suppose. Even if it’s somethin’ I don’t quite understand.
