Listen, this “Watch Dogs 2” thing on that PlayStation 4, it’s got some music, they call it a “theme.” You know, like when you start up the game or something. Now, I ain’t no expert on these things, but my grandson, he’s always fiddlin’ with that machine.
So, this “theme music,” it’s like the tune they play. Keeps playin’ and playin’. My grandson, he hums it all the time, walkin’ around the house like he’s got a bee in his bonnet.
I asked him, “What’s that noise you’re makin’?” He says, “Grandma, it’s the ‘Watch Dogs 2′ theme!” Like I’m supposed to know what that means. He says it’s from the game, where you play as some fella who messes with computers and stuff. I told him, “Don’t you be doin’ any of that funny business on my computer! You hear me?”
Anyway, this music, it’s kinda catchy, I guess. Got a beat to it. My grandson says you can even change it, get different “stations.” Imagine that! Like turnin’ a radio dial, but on the game. He showed me how he holds down somethin’ on that controller, moves a little stick around, and poof! Different music starts playin’.
- He says you gotta press a button when it says “New Song.” Or you can go into the phone in the game, find a “song sneak” app. Don’t ask me what that means, sounds like somethin’ sneaky, alright.
- You can even get new songs from the radio in the game. Instead of waitin’ for those folks drivin’ around in their cars to play ’em. My grandson says it’s faster that way. Kids these days, always in a hurry.
This “Watch Dogs 2,” it came out a while back, in 2016. My grandson says it’s the second one they made. A “sequel,” he calls it. Fancy word for another game. You play it on that PlayStation 4, the one that sits under the TV and takes up all the space.
Now, about gettin’ this “theme,” my grandson says it’s free. Free is good, right? He showed me somethin’ on the computer, a “link” he called it, to somethin’ called the “PlayStation Store.” Said it’s where you get all sorts of things for the game.
He clicked around, and there it was, the “theme.” Said it even has special music, “custom background music.” Sounds fancy, huh? But it’s just more of that “Watch Dogs 2” music, far as I can tell.
He downloaded it, and now every time he starts the game, that music plays. He seems happy enough with it. Keeps him quiet for a while, at least. So, if you’ve got that “Watch Dogs 2” game and want some new music, maybe you can find that “theme” thing too. Just ask your grandson, he’ll know what to do.
