Ah, so you wanna know about the songs in Watch Dogs 2, huh? Well, let me tell ya, them tunes in that game sure do make a body tap their foot. The game’s got all kinds of music, mixin’ together some good ol’ hip-hop and fancy electronic beats. If ya like that kinda stuff, you’re gonna be in for a treat. Now, let me walk ya through a few things, don’t rush, take your time and get comfy.
First off, let me tell ya somethin’ about the music in the game. It ain’t just for background noise, no, sir! It helps set the whole mood of the game, ya know? You got Marcus, that fella you play as, rollin’ through the streets of San Francisco, and the music just helps ya feel the vibe. Sometimes, when you press the touchpad on your controller, a lil’ prompt pops up sayin’ “New Song,” and if you ain’t payin’ attention, you might miss it. But don’t worry, you can always pull out your phone in the game and use the song sneak app. Or heck, even use the radio! They got all kinds of songs for you to enjoy while you’re out there hackin’ and causin’ trouble.
Now, let me tell ya about some of them tracks, so you know what you’re listenin’ to while you’re out there workin’ your magic. The very first track you’ll probably hear is called Shanghaied, and that one starts right at the very beginning of the game. It gets your heart pumpin’, ready to get into all the action. Then, you got Burning Desire (Hacker) at 3:53. Oh, I tell ya, that one has a real catchy beat! You can almost feel the tension buildin’ as you try to break into them systems. You ain’t just walkin’ around, you’re on a mission, and that music just makes it all the more exciting.
Then, there’s W4tched (Cinema) around 5:16. Oh, don’t get me started on that one, it’s like the music’s talkin’ to ya, pullin’ ya into a whole new world. As you get deeper into the game, you’ll start hearin’ Haum Sweet Haum at 6:22, and boy, it really does feel like you’re in a new place, a whole new world. Real strange but in a good way, ya know? And don’t forget about Cyber Driver at 10:22. That one’s real high energy, makes you wanna get in the driver’s seat and speed off into the sunset—though, I don’t recommend it. You might end up in a crash!
Now, one of my favorites, and I think you’ll like it too, is Amethyst around 13:44. I tell ya, that one’s just smooth, makes you wanna sit back and enjoy the ride. But let me warn ya, you ain’t gonna hear these songs just from sittin’ in your car or standin’ still. Nah, ya gotta get movin’ around, hack some things, cause a little trouble here and there, and them tunes will come to you. The more you play, the more songs you’ll unlock, and each one of ’em adds a little flavor to the whole experience.
So, there ya go! That’s just a sneak peek of some of the music in Watch Dogs 2. Ain’t no need to rush through it, just let the beats wash over you as you make your way through the city. It’s all about havin’ fun, and with these songs in your ear, it’s gonna be a wild ride. Hope you enjoy the game, and the music, too. If you wanna dive deeper, just keep your ears open as you play. There’s plenty more tracks to find!
