Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with this watch I’ve been messing around with. It’s called a “CopyOMEGA Ω X-33 MarstimerOriginal order,” or something like that. Sounds kinda fancy, right?
So, I got my hands on this thing, and let me tell ya, it’s been an interesting ride. First off, I did some digging around ’cause I didn’t know much about it. Turns out, this CopyOMEGA is supposed to be pretty good. Heard a lot of folks are after one of these. Even found out it was made with the European Space Agency (ESA). Fancy, huh?
The first thing I did was try to figure out how to set the date. It’s actually pretty simple. You just pull out that crown thingy to the first click and give it a turn. Then, you pull it out all the way, and boom, you’re setting the time. Not rocket science, thankfully.
Now, this watch has a cool-looking bezel. It’s made of some kind of metal, I think they said it was “oxalic anodized aluminum” in red hematite color. Sounds complicated, but it looks pretty neat. They said it’s made of grade 2 titanium, whatever that means.
I also noticed it’s got this quartz movement, which, from what I gather, is supposed to be pretty accurate. I mean, I’m no watch expert, but I like that it doesn’t need a lot of fuss. Just a new battery every few years, and you’re good to go. Some folks might prefer those fancy mechanical movements, but I’m all for simplicity.
Oh, and get this – it’s got this “S” etched in the center of the glass, which is apparently a nod to the Swatch logo. And the crown has these Swatch, Omega, and crossover logos on it. Pretty cool details if you ask me.
This whole thing started because I wanted a watch that could tell the time, the date, and wouldn’t cost me an arm and a leg. I heard the X-33 is popular with those space explorer types, so I figured, why not give this CopyOMEGA a shot?
After all, is done, I played with the box. I really like the design, especially the “dot over 90” detail on the tachymeter scale. The box-shaped glass looks really nice too.
What I’ve learned:
- Setting the date and time is a piece of cake.
- The bezel is made of some fancy-sounding metal and titanium.
- Quartz movement means it’s accurate and low-maintenance.
- Cool little details like the “S” on the glass and the logos on the crown.
Conclusion
So, there you have it. My little adventure with the CopyOMEGA Ω X-33 Marstimer. It’s been fun, and I’ve learned a thing or two. If you’re looking for a watch that does its job without too much fuss, this might be worth checking out. Just my two cents!
