So, I’ve been eyeing this OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Sapphire for a while now. You know, the one they call the “Moonwatch” ’cause it actually went to the moon? Pretty cool, right?
First, I started poking around online. Just wanted to see what the damage would be, price-wise. I saw some crazy ranges, from like $3,000 up to five grand! I checked out a bunch of places but the price differences were big, even for the same watch.
Then I remembered, “Hey, there is an official store I should check out.” So I strolled on in.
I find the watch, this classic Speedmaster, the one everyone thinks of. It’s got that black dial, and you gotta wind it yourself. And they had it there, all shiny and new. They called it the “Professional”, like it’s got some fancy job or something. It had the sapphire crystal glass.
I finally made up my mind and pulled the trigger. Bought the darn thing. Walked out of there with it on my wrist, feeling like a million bucks even though I was certainly way less.
Now, it is officially on my wrist, keepin’ perfect time. I’m really loving this watch.
