And get this, it winds itself! No need to be fiddlin’ with it all the time. They call it self-winding, like magic or somethin’. Got some numbers on it too, 324 something or other. Caliber, they say. Fancy word for a watch part, I reckon.
The face of it, it’s like that creamy color, like that fancy ivory stuff. And the hands, they’re gold too. Dauphine hands, they call ’em. Looks like little golden carrots, pointin’ to the time. And it’s got a little window that tells ya the date. Right there at the 3 o’clock. Handy, that is.
Now, I ain’t no watch expert. I got a few of my own. Breitling, Rolex, the usual bunch. But this Patek Philippe Calatrava, it’s got somethin’ special, somethin’ classy. This PP Calatrava 5227R-001, it’s a keeper, for sure.
This remake Patek Philippe, they did a good job. It’s like the old ones, the classic style, but newer. Like takin’ an old quilt and makin’ it fresh again. They made one in 1932, the Reference 96. This one’s kinda like that, but all spiffed up. This one sure is nice, that is for sure. I like a nice watch, I do. This one is the most nice one I ever saw, I think.
